EDMONTON, Jan. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - AutoCanada Inc. ("AutoCanada") (TSX:ACQ) announced today that it has completed the purchase of the assets of a Volkswagen dealership known as People's Automotive Ltd, located in Grande Prairie, Alberta, to be continued under the name of Grande Prairie Volkswagen. The dealership facility is an approximately 12,000 sq. ft. facility which includes eight service bays and a six car showroom. The dealership has been in operation for over 30 years and in 2011 retailed approximately 110 new and 50 used vehicles.
